The service here is fantastic! Jacob and Erin were amazing. They were attentive and had great energy that made our visit fun and worthwhile. I’d definitely recommend The G to anyone looking for quality food, drinks, and atmosphere.

This is one of the best places in the entire world! Whether you're eating and/or drinking, the crowd is always fantastic, and all of the employees are absolutely awesome! It caters to locals, tourists , and everyone in between. The pricing is well beyond fair, and the food is always really good! The kitchen staff have been there for decades which shows what type of awesome place this is. The owner is one of the nicest people in the entire world, and it shows with how they've been so great for over 30 years now. If you have other places to go, scratch that, and cruise to The Grand Avenue Bar and Grill. Good food, awesome people, a jukebox, and probably one of the funnest times you'll have.

The G was my watering hole for many years and while I do not miss those days, I do miss the G. The cuisine is a wonderful surprise for first time visitors and I have introduced many to this local gem. I have since moved from the beach to parts north, but always visit when back in town.

When someone recommends a bar for fresh caught seafood pasta and homemade posole you can't help but react with genuine skepticism. Fortunately now I can be the one to see the faces of skeptical people because this food was good! Other positives: The food and drinks were very reasonably priced, the service was fast and attentive, and best of all, no wait or reservation needed on a Friday night during a holiday weekend. You better believe everywhere else was packed and double the price.

I had the best time last night! I went in solo and ended up staying for hours, because everyone from the employees to the locals were super friendly. Some dude named Michael floating around talking to everyone is an absolute legend and the new waitress is a total sweetheart. I don’t think 15 minutes went by before she came and checked on me, and the place was packed. Can’t wait to come back!!!

Just moved here from Long Beach Ca. Found the best bar/restaurant. The staff is the friendly and the food is great. Lots of options here. I recommend the burger. I felt back at home being here. Ask for Sam and Shelby. Both remember your name and have great smiles. Def coming back again. Thanks G
